I waited years to go here but finally made it in and it was everything I expected. The omakase is the way to go, along with any a la carte after and dessert. The menu was easily modified to be gluten free and the waitress paid close attention to ensure I received the gluten free versions. The online scheduling made it easy to set a reservation for four and update it as plans changed. Atmosphere and wait staff was pleasant. The bill was high, @ $150 each, but very very worth it for a high end sushi and memory.

Had a great time here. The tasting menu is really good value and we were really full after! Would highly recommend also getting the blackened cod. And the desserts as add ons. The water cake, and tiramisu were amazing.

Wonderful spot for a quick omakase! I didn't have a reservation but was able to snag the last table with no wait! They did a wonderful job at adapting the chef's choice dinner to be only fish. Staff was very friendly and carefully explained each piece of fish. I was dining solo and was in and out in 50 minutes. Only thing that could have been improved is if there were more vegetable and salad-type appetizers available. My meal was only fish and rice. Delicious meal overall, looking forward to returning next time I'm in town

Shiro's was one of the better omakase experiences I have had. Further, it was a great value at $75/person for 19 pieces. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. My personal favorite was the tuna course, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all. We finished the meal with the matcha tiramisu (added on). Would definitely come back whenever I'm in the Seattle area!

I would definitely treat yourself to some additional samples as long as you are there. The quality of the fish is second to none. The danger is it might ruin other places for you . . .
No but it is highly recommended. Otherwise arrive 30 minutes prior to opening to get a good seat, especially at the sushi bar
I'd say about an hour and 20 min to comfortably enjoy the entire thing with some hot tea or drinks
I believe you're talking about "amaebi" or "sweet shrimp". You are first served the raw shrimp tail "negiri" style. Then the chef fries the head of the shrimp. Its served whole.
We had the tasting menu with wine. We paid around $200 for two.
I wouldn't.
