Nice setting in a historic community. Great service and excellent food. Always something unique on the menu. A must stop when we have company. Be aware that there are stairs to different dining areas and restrooms. This is a historic building.

The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. The menu and wine selection are both well thought out. The location has a great deal of history about it. I would say that this is one of the best places to eat in ligonier. I would love to see the addition of more chef's specials and perhaps wild game offerings. I encourage the facility to continue to expand its wine menu and continue to expand its exotic beer selection. However I understand that traffic may not make that a financially profitable undertaking. The artwork displayed is gorgeous. Has the facility thought about allowing local artists to show and sell their sculptures and paintings? Has the facility considered a book club brunch plus wine? A haunted supper? Feel free to contact me for fine points and suggestions if you are interested.

Delightful place for dinner and a drink. I was seated at a hightop out front where you can watch the world slowly go by. The menu is limited, but the food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The Cesar salad on the menu sounds amazing. I was so disappointed. There was no shaved parmesan (okay grated is fine I guess). There were no croutons. I added fried chicken (making this a $16 salad), which was cold and resembled frozen chicken I could buy at the grocery store. The only redeeming aspect was the dressing. If you're looking for lettuce and capers, get this. Otherwise, go anywhere else.

Ligonier Tavern & Table opens at 11 am daily. On Sunday, Ligonier Tavern & Table closes at 8 pm.
We parked in a parking meter lot up a side street up the hill from the tavern on one of the main streets. Not a far walk.
