I enjoyed the vintage "Chinese restaurant" feel, almost a time warp to some old Hollywood movie set where one would expect gambling table in the back and a fight to break out. The service was good by an obviously long-long time waitress, she was lovely. I really hoped the food would have been at least as good as the grocery store hot bar. The portions were large but the flavor was flat, under salted, doused in bright red sauce, and white- ish sauce that tasted exactly the same as red sans the food coloring and sugar. This is probably what Chinese people imagine America's think the food should taste like. All we were able to taste was just salt, sugar, and deep fried batter.

In the past you could tell food was microwaved because texture was like rubber, however I am thrilled to say House of Kee food is fabulous again!!! The Cantonese Dinner is delicious. You won't be disappointed.

I have gone to them for 35 + years. Loved the food always consistent But very disappointed they cut the amount of food servings!! I would rather have a higher price And same amount!! I ordered take out Cantonese for 2 went home very imbarrased the amount was so much smaller. This is one thing I cannot cook so I don't feel guilty spending the $$$ it's not a daily thing

You will enjoy a great meal whether or not you dine in or take away. We enjoyed a dine-in experience with nice music, great service and wonderful food. Left overs came home with us for a whole other meal.
