I’ve been here a 3 times and the last two times I’ve felt like I was a burden by even showing up. This time we showed up a little over an hour before close and when we asked for a table, the hostess said “ummm” and then silently stared at her watch for quite an awkward amount of time. The hostess then said it would be a 20 minute wait for food. We asked if we could sit at the bar and wait. We were told it would still be a 15 minute wait for food. We said that was fine, we’d like to just have a beer at the bar while we wait. We were seated at the bar and she brought us only a drink menu. When we were greeted by the bartender a few minutes later, we ordered our drinks and asked for a dinner menu. She then asked the same hostess for one and the hostess said “those are the same people I said had to wait for food.” The bartender told her the kitchen was caught up and to give us a menu. I guess I just don’t understand the gatekeeping of the menu; why we can’t even look at the menu while we wait to order. It was such an awkward exchange that played out in plain sight of us and other patrons and it just made us feel like we were a bother. Now having said that, the bartender was lovely, kind, and bubbly. But a similar experience was had two times in a row now, two times out of three. It’s hard to overlook.

After a long day of training, we treated ourselves to AKA Kitchen. Our server, Kim, was awesome and the kitchen was on point! I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and it almost felt criminal to destroy the beautiful puff pastry to get to the pie - but it was oh so worth it! We all received a good dose of great food and excellent hospitality! 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Had the pancake wrapped bacon today. It was disgusting. The bacon was thin and chewy in the middle but charred on the ends. The oil they used to fry them in was old and foul tasting. The batter was burnt. I felt sick for the rest of the day.

A meal is typically in the 9 to 12$ range. There is also an alacart menu option.
No obvious COVID safety practices here. There is a sign stating that the county has a mask mandate but not one of the employees was wearing a mask. Our server talked to us very loudly and animatedly about 1 foot away from our faces with no mask on.
Yes, they allow you to bring dogs in porch as long as they are well behaved.
Hi Sammye! We do have gluten free bread options and corn tortillas for chips and salsa and the 'Denver "Omelette" Nachos'. We have lots of Gluten Free options in addition to those as well. Just let your server know and they can help you find a menu item that will best please your appetite!
I don't know if they take reservations, but I have never needed one. I'm usually the for breakfast on the weekend by 9:00 AM.
