The Farm at Cottrell Lake

My daughter and son-in-law got married at The Farm at Cottrell Lake in July 2022. The venue is idyllic with gorgeous grounds, including two barns, amazing views, and various areas set up for guests to gather and mingle. There was also a wonderful outdoor area set up for the ceremony. So many of our guests told us how much they loved this venue! The place is set up so that the events flow beautifully from the wedding, to the cocktail hour and then the reception. Because there is only one wedding per weekend, we were able to have time to decorate and set up ahead of time. We also held the rehearsal dinner there the night before, which was fun for the wedding party to get a feel for how the wedding day would go. There is a beautiful farmhouse also on the property that we were able have the bridal party stay in overnight the night before, and the newlyweds stay after their wedding. The bridal party had so much fun celebrating at night around an outdoor fire pit. In the morning, we enjoyed mimosas and getting our hair and makeup done together. My favorite part was the excitement of watching the guests arrive! As delightful as all of this was, the best part of this wedding venue is the wonderful owners and staff. They pitched in wherever needed, and were there to answer any questions that came up. Because of them, every detail of the day and evening went smoothly. They were genuinely happy and excited for our entire family, and made our wedding one that we, and our guests, can’t stop talking about! Thank you! (Wedding of Lacey and Bill Williams)

The Farm at Cottrell Lake is truly a magical wedding venue. The grounds are simply stunning, complete with rolling hills, fields and forests. Each building has a unique charm and pair together for the perfect package. How a place can feel both rustic and luxurious simultaneously is beyond me, but somehow they managed. Arguably the best features of the Farm are its owners: Melissa and Brian. Their attention to detail is obvious, and on a level I’ve never seen matched at any other venue. It was clear that our wedding day was truly special to them, and I feel so fortunate to have had their support from day 1. The Farm at Cottrell Lake is truly exceptional in every way imaginable.

This is the most beautiful farm, that was turned into a wedding venue, that I have ever seen! I don't care that they are 2 hours away, I will go up there as many times as they need me, to perform a wedding ceremony!!! The owners are fabulous and friendly! The views are breathtaking! They have several different sites to hold your ceremony! This is definitely one place you want to check out for your wedding ceremony!!!

The Farm at Cottrell Lake is one of the most gorgeous venues in the area and one of my favorite venue to photograph weddings at! The renovated farm house has so many unique touches and is so clean! The owners, Brian & Melissa are just the sweetest, most accommodating people. They go out of their way to make each and every client feel as special as possible!
