Shout out to Josh at the ski shop. He really came through with getting me new snowboard bindings and installing them and getting me a great deal in one go. He was also very chill and I would be his friend!

This place is always busy but the staff is generally helpful once you get to talk to someone. Did Jr trade upgrade and walked home with the skis that day. Compared to the two+ months it took last year, was very happy.

Achilles Duo

I first went to the Havana street, Denver location. I waited in line for 30 minutes to be told I can’t be seen to join their trade in program. Then I asked if we can walk in, he said all booked up today but ask at front desk. Front desk had no idea what I was talking about and went to check for me, this guy was actually trying to be helpful. He comes back and says they have appointments all day so I may be waiting 3 hours. I saw 1 employees helping with ski gear and about 10 other employees in other sections standing around. Website clearly says “walk ins accepted.” Here is the appointment system Epic uses, as I understand it. Each night you can get on their website at midnight each night to get an appointment in 2 weeks. Anyway, two days later I went to Boulder location. Immediately turned away for not having an appointment. Apparently one employee was out sick. There were no other customers in the store. Plenty of employees watching this lady tell me to go elsewhere. I asked if another location would see walk ins. She responded with “maybe Christy’s would take you.” I took her up on that suggestion. Walked right in to Christy’s in Cherry Creek. Got the gear and we are ready for ski season. Thanks Christy’s! I highly recommend Christy’s. Just a side note… if we need to change up the gear we might have rented from Epic for any reason, is it a 2 week wait for that too? Ridiculous.
