Superb garden nursery for native Colorado plants, shrubs, and trees. The owner especially is so knowledgeable. I drove about 40 miles to get there and it was so worth it as I live at about 7,300 feet in the foothills and wanted native plants and seeds.

They have so many native plants for sale here. Their staff is so knowledgeable, and everything is very reasonably priced. You have to keep visiting often through the season since they continue to get new plants all the time. Plus they have ducks and one angry goose lol. And now they gave a membership program.

I waited for quite a while for someone to help me and was overlooked to serve other customers who arrived after me. When I finally met with a staff, I felt their advice was vague and unhelpful even though I gave specifics for my planting conditions. I did my best with their information and bought three starters because of the soil requirements outlined by the Harlequin-made signs on-site, but they all did very poorly at home. After doing my own research, I found the soil requirements were completely different (sandy soil) than what was recommended by the nursery (most soil types including clay) and feel this contributed to the plants' failure.

Knowledgeable staff, and plentiful plants. It's off the beaten path, but totally worth investigating and buying from this local treasure. I appreciate the native species category, and the depth of information supplied for everything.

We do have certain trees that can be used as "privacy trees" but not your tradition nursery privacy screen trees. Tall juniper (Woodward variety), new mexican privet is sometimes recommended as a regional shrub/tree for privacy as it can be pruned to needs, and maybe some lilacs (obviously less privacy in winter than summer). Hope that helps. Feel free to come over and see what we have in stock and if anything suits your needs. Many thanks for your support.
Their website lists all the many many varieties and had detailed description. If you're looking for a specific kind you should call them and they'll tell you when it'll be in stock.
Yes, dogs are welcome on leashes!
They didn't have much left when I was there a few weeks ago. I would call them with your question. It did seem that a lot of their plants were small.
Yes, we hav 2 cu ft bags for $8
Best to call them direct.
That's right. Also Home Depot recently has had sales on plants and have indoor plants. Snake plants will root very very easily from cuttings, so you can just find someone and get them to give you a couple of leaves. Just put them in dirt they'll root.
