Was just in here browsing, and the young man that works here walked by myself and friend and said “if you break it you buy it just saying” in a very condescending tone while looking at a secretary desk. Never broken anything in a store in my life and we were being very gentle while looking at everything. No reason for him to be so rude. The ladies that work here however were very polite.

I was in the store earlier today and they have a cabinet full of African americana figures and memorabilia.”Mammy”, “uncle”, and black face caricature I am sure some people see no problem with this but personally I think it’s inappropriate, just as I think depicting Native Americans as savages or cartoonish with red skin is inappropriate. I will not shop there again. But hey if that’s your jam.

Went on line to check the hours and decided to read the reviews. I was a little shocked at a couple of them. My wife and I have been shopping there for many years. Always the same owners and staff. Very friendly people. Great store, great prices. When looking for antiques go here first. You cant go wrong and you wont be sorry. MP.
