Beware of the insurance scam this group is running!!! The salesperson at CSI told me to pay $1300 out of pocket in able to "get my Cpap machine faster", and then run a claim through my insurance company to be reimbursed later. Simple enough?...not even close! It has been a total nightmare dealing with CSI! It took over 3 months to be reimbursed $520. But here is where the real scam comes in, during the selling of machine at CSI I was slipped and signed a document that said I will be paying out of pocket and therefore waiving my insurance company's negotiated rate on CPAP machine of $650 of which I would be responsible 20% of which would only be $130!!!!! I am out $750 from this insurance scam they are running. BEWARE!! feel free to contact me, looking into a class action lawsuit with the state of Colorado.

Stay away; they are useless. I had a virtual call scheduled with them and they didn't show up for it. Instead, tried to claim I was a no show.... "but they wouldn't bill me for it!" Gee, how considerate of them. Negative reviews are all accurate.

I’m not sure I’ve ever left a google review, especially not a negative one, but Colorado Sleep clinic has inspired me to do so. I experienced disorganized and non-communicative operations, apathetic providers who phone it in via telehealth (literally and figuratively) and the sleep clinic which they described as “like a hotel” which smelled of cigarettes and looked like an old hospital room. I’ve been working with them for 9 months and have consistently been told delays and gaps in communication were because of staffing issues. I’m going to guess it’s the leaders, because their issues are systemic. One positive shout out to the receptionist at the Boulder location who was the only human to exhibit any form of empathy in my entire experience with them. They’d only been there a month and I hope they find a job that appreciates and mirrors their good service.

Dr recommended a sleep study. Was told insurance would cover it. Then we received a $500 bill. Insurance said we don’t cover that and REM just said too bad not our problem. Avoid if you can or be stuck with unexpected bills.

Does the cleaner for Cpap really help to prevent disease? How do we obtain one and does Medicare pay for it ?

The cleaner you see on tv is another piece of equipment for you to maintain and Medicare likely does not pay. You are better off doing your weekly and monthly maintenance.

I have a cold, should I still use my thearpy when I'm sick?

I've tried to use my cpap when I've had a cold, but if I'm too stuffed up, then I can't breathe and have to take it off. But sometimes a hot bath or shower will clear my nose enough, or a diffuser with eucalyptus. I always try to use the cpap. I've had too many colds this year to just wait till I'm healthy. And I think it does help my sleep apnea.
