I registered and got a card; helpful desk on entry! I liked the plug in for my laptop and phone; good seats, good environment!

I'm a young female (16, to be exact) I love reading and I used to go here for a long while... I stopped going as soon as the staff started acting weird. The lady who gets the books for me is obviously hard of hearing because I ask her for a book and she gave a Manga book that was nothing even close to what I had asked for! Didn't sound anything like it, too. Then another lady was so rude and kept trying to get me to leave. For the past year, I've had nothing but bad experiences there.

❤ the kids and I LOVE this place. The staff is so kind and helpful! Nothing is absolutely quiet, but this library is usually always quiet. The Events and activities are one of my youngest son's favorite parts. The littles can play quiet games on the computer for a limited time using thier library card number things. It may be small, but it has a lot of 📚!!! We can't wait till no one has to wear a mask though we appreciate the face covering rule.

They were not very helpful, I went in to use the computer and the lady stood back so far from me that she was able to see the computer to even help me. I was there for 30 minutes and got absolutely nothing accomplished. I understand about the covid and I understand that there are rules that people have to follow, however if you can't get close enough to assist someone then what's the point of being there at all?

Yes! You are allowed inside and can check out materials and use computers and do copying and all of the things. You still do. Need to wear a mask until the mandate officially ends later this month, though!
Hi Mae. All Library buildings are currently closed to the public to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Unfortunately, there is no access to computers at this time.
I don't believe it's a 'public phone'. You could probably ask, as most public locations, that may allow you to use their phone to make a call. Hope this helps.
At this time, computers are first come, first serve so you can simply walk in to use one!
Hi Cindy. We are excited to welcome customers back into the libraries! The Parkland/Spanaway Pierce County Library is currently open for curbside pick up and limited technology services. We should be opening for in-building services including browsing mid July. Please watch our website for updates at www.piercecountylibrary.org.
Yes that library location is open for technology use. You can do 45 minute appointments through walk-ins or schedule. I work for Pierce County Library.
Hi Val. The library is not currently open to go inside. We hope to begin opening more locations for limited services in the coming weeks. Please watch our website at www.piercecountylibrary.org for more information. Thanks.
Hi Alea. Printing services are currently available through our mobile printing. Send the item(s) you'd like printed to one of our locations, schedule a Library Curbside appointment and pick up your prints. You can find more information at http://curbside.pcls.us.
We are now doing curbside pickup. You can go online at http://curbside.pcls.us to make an appointment to pick up your items. You can also call the location during service hours to schedule an appointment as well. Hope to see you soon!
Unfortunately, there is not a notary at any of our Pierce County Library locations. However, our friends at Tacoma Public Library do offer notary services by appointment. https://www.tacomalibrary.org/faq/notary-service/
Unfortunately, we do not. We do have knitting and crochet groups at other branches such as Summit, UP and Fife. Check our calendar for more information - https://calendar.piercecountylibrary.org/events.
