Went in due to a letter that was sent about fraud. Drove all the way downtown, paid for parking, and they gave me a number that you can never talk to anyone. Nobody assist me and you can't make appointments or speak to anyone at their office.

They do not accept walk in and it has no signage outside, the building is on the corner and irs is 2nd floor

How can I talk to a live person for the IRS? The website says you can check on the current year for an Amended Return, however, you CAN NOT check on a 2019 Amended Return Refund. I have been waiting over 3 months for my return.

I filed ,my taxes with turbo tax in jan . In Feb Turbo Tax and IRS approved it with a time table of March 4 for my refund but it still says processing i know people who filed after me and they have already got there refund .

I got my 1st 1,200 stimulus deposited to my ck account 7/29/20. The 2nd payment of 600 never arrived nor did the 1,400. Can I claim both on my 2020 tax return. I have been unsuccessful in talking to an IRS agent or resolving it on the IRS website.

Hi, Only the first two economic impact payments (1200 and 600) can be claimed in the 2020 Tax return by using the 2020 Recovery Rebate Credit. IRS had not yet issued a directive for claiming the 3rd if not received. (I think mostly probably you can do it in 2021 return) For more information - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/recovery-rebate-credit I am not a Tax agent or IRS agent. Just happened to know the answer to your question.
