Honestly, I don't think anyone even works here. I tried to make an appointment, but they said I had to text them information about my hair, so I did. Nobody ever got back to me, until finally, on the 5th day of no response, I texted the given Gene Juarez number saying "I'm no longer interested." After that I found another salon that actually BOOKED ME AN APPOINTMENT. (((Gene Juarez, please don't respond to this with some lame excuse. I see you for who you are.)))

Had a great cut from Greg. Probably the best haircut I've ever had. Highly recommend. also, the deep conditioning keratin treatment did wonders. they are a cash free salon, so bring your card.

Had an absolutely lovely time with Ray. My haircut was beautiful. She really talked me through the best approach, as I'm in that weird stage of growing my hair out, and she showed me two different ways to style it. Couldn't be happier.

I originally asked for balayage but then hair colorist recommended full foil because my hair is too dark and wont lighten up. Ive never done full foil. I thought its the same thing as balayage just a slight difference. The word “FULL” threw me off and thought it meant full color. Why would you even recommend something that is not even close to what the customer wants? Anyway so I said yes and she added that she would need to add hair protection which they add to the color and have to pay extra. So I also said yes to it. When it was all done I hurried home because I needed to get home, I already saw my hair in the mirror before leaving Gene Juarez and I wasnt happy about it. Then when I got home my kids said “woah! You look like a tiger!” Lol I expected that. “Looked at myself in the mirror and said this is not a $400+ Hair job!” I do look like a tiger. It would’ve been ok if my hair is full blonde even if it has ugly color which can be work on, on the second or third visit. And I fully understand that they cant do the color I want for right now but this tiger stripes needs to go. Oh and my haircut smh. I dont even want to talk about it. I called Gene Juarez hrs later to ask if I can get it redone and was told It needed to get approved by a manager. So im still waiting for a call. UPDATE: Never got a call. I had to contact and they still have to do review with their GM before they can decide. Next day I got an offer of a 20% off for a balayage/next service. I rarely get my hair done. But I’ve-been feeling kinda down being home with kids and a newborn and this pandemic happening so I decided to treat myself and also for my birthday this coming week. Hoping to feel a little better. But with this hair and haircut? Doesnt even make me want to go out anymore. Spent so much money for something basic. Something that I can just get some place else or even have my friend do for me. This is just adding more to what I’m already dealing with. Definitely gonna be my first and last visit at this place.
