While we enjoyed the food the one recurring theme was "No"! No substitutions, No to accommodating food allergies, no to the temperature of the meat, NO, NO, NO, NO!!! You will want to download the menu before you arrive as they do not provide actual menus. I had taken a snap shot of the menu and texted it to my family. When we tried to use the code provided the internet service was non-existent! After we had dessert we had requested coffee, well what we recieved was the bill instead. They made it very clear that our time was up and we were not going to get our coffee! In other words, don't let the door hit you on the way out! The service was pleasant, somewhat rehearsed, but nevertheless borderline amateurish, not what one would expect of a Relais and Chateaux. The restaurant is not handicap friendly, there was plenty of parking, but not one spot was allocated for the handicapped. The restaurant is not really wheelchair accessible, the rest rooms of which there are two was not handicapp friendly. The wine list was exceptional, the setting was lovely and the food was nicely presented and interesting, however the experience was just okay.

I rarely write reviews of restaurants (good or bad), but I am so disappointed by my last few experiences at The Barn. The food is wonderful and the servers are beyond lovely and attentive; but the woman who runs the restaurant (she is always there and she introduced herself as the owner at one point) is so rude, so dismissive, and so unwelcoming that I’ll never eat there again. I’ve enjoyed meals at the Bedford Post for years - through every chef and iteration. It’s a shame that the attitude and personality of one person could deter me from ever again making a reservation.

This Michelin starred restaurant is worth all the hype. Ideal for a special occasion dinner or a leisurely eating experience. Service was courteous and efficient. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy and romantic. The cocktails were soooo delicious. Food was amazing. The Bone Marrow Luge… I could have eaten 10 of those! And the Steak Frites was cooked to perfection. Would skip the Mushroom Pasta next time. But that average dish was easily forgotten when I bit into the Peach and Plum Pavlova. LOVED IT!!

A beautiful setting for a nice lunch. Salad was delicious with a vegan ranch dressing. The service was attentive and very pleasant. Katherine is one of the nicest waitperson ever.
