While we enjoyed the food the one recurring theme was "No"! No substitutions, No to accommodating food allergies, no to the temperature of the meat, no, no, no, no!!! You will want to download the menu before you arrive as they do not provide actual menus. I had taken a snap shot of the menu and texted it to my family. When we tried to use the code provided the internet service was non-existent! After we had dessert we had requested coffee, well what we recieved was the bill instead. They made it very clear that our time was up and we were not going to get our coffee! In other words, don't let the door hit you on the way out! The service was pleasant, and somewhat well rehearsed, however not what one would expect of a Relais and Chateaux. The wine list was exceptional, the food was nicely presented, but just okay.

The grounds and atmosphere are fantastic and so well maintained. The restaurant was ideal with mood lighting, but enough to read a menu and see your food. The food was delicious and excellently prepared. There was a nice selection on the menu so people have choices, and of course you can't go wrong with farm to table dining...everything was so fresh and flavorful. They have reasonable covid protocols and their service never disappoints! This is one of our favorite places to go, we love the seasonal changing menu....there is always something new to try.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cocktails - service was very friendly - we were not looking for dinner but it seems a reservation is required if you want to do that - they don’t serve food at the bar but drinks were pretty good - very nice cozy place

My husband and I stayed at this special inn for the first night of our honeymoon. The room was gorgeous - especially the bathroom with a beautiful soaking tub, marble heated floors, and a walk in shower. From the moment we arrived the staff treated us with the highest regard. When we stepped out to get our luggage they surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day and a congratulatory bottle of Prosecco. They set us up with dinner reservations for that evening. When we got back, we sat by the outdoor fire which was a wonderful experience. Overall, we were so happy with our stay at the Bedford Post Inn! Thank you!
