I would not recommend this apt. Appliances are old and not energy star rated. A/C system is indicated for 2 bedroom. No generator back system to run elevator for handcapp living in second or third floor. No internet.

My father-in-law enjoys living here. Rent is affordable, complex has a homey feeling, seniors do not need to drive far to shopping (Meijer, Kroger, etc.), trail to Abbot Road Park just south of the apartment that is paved and accommodates a scooter.

This business needs a website for senior occupants to view. They are currently without electric and my mother who lives there is trying to find out info. as to the current situation with no one to call. A website would help those that reside there to know when they can move back home.

It's cliquey, special rules for special people, the maintenance guy parks in the back so it's hard to get in there to unload your groceries, unloading and pick up in the front is hard you only get 15 minutes so if you're helping a friend with retail or grocery shopping people really get on your case for being 5 minutes over. They lose power and it takes days for the management to get it put back to working, and the board is difficult to work with, it's really too slow and making decisions. The manager of the actual building is a little hard on the palate. But she is good at keeping activities going in the community room.
