Chad and his team at Clarkston Complete Renovation did a fantastic job on a full remodel down to the studs of two bathrooms for us. Rich, Michael and the rest of the crew were very courteous, communicated well. They did such a great job that we have already scheduled the next project to begin in November.

I cannot say enough about Clarkston Complete Renovation! Chad Purcell is one of the few contractors who truly believes in honesty and integrity. We used CCR for our deck addition and most recently for our master bath remodel. All I can say is…AMAZING!! When I walk into my bathroom I feel like I’m walking into a spa! It is absolutely beautiful! I can’t thank Richard, Michael and Joel enough! My shower is a work of art! The half wall and my built in shelves are amazing! The attention to detail and quality of work was just exceptional! There is nothing about the bathroom that I would change. It is absolutely gorgeous! And it was such a pleasure working with everyone. Super nice guys to have in my home and to work with. They are professional yet personable. They were very considerate, careful, and respectful of us and our home. I truly enjoyed getting to know them. It was all around a great experience! Can’t wait to have them back to do my kitchen! Thank you so much for everything!

We had a kitchen flood which turned into a bit of a kitchen remodel. Working with Chad and his team was great. Very professional with a personal touch, friendly and got things done. We are truly pleased with the work we had done and the workers who did the job. Definitely would recommend.

Your contractor will coordinate a start date the works best for you after you have discussed and agreed upon your estimate, and you have decided on your materials and layout. Once that is complete, the magic begins! The typical process is as followed: • Demo day • Moving electrical plumbing and HVAC (if layout has been changed) • Making drywall repairs • Priming and paint walls and ceiling • Installing kitchen cabinets • Measuring for new countertops • Install countertops • Cabinet hardware installation • Backsplash • Flooring • Trim • Plumbing finishes, plugs switches, fixtures • Appliances installed • Finishing touches Keep in mind that this is a general outline. Your contracting team will communicate with you throughout the process to keep you up to date.
Here are the top three most popular options: 1. Granite is the most affordable option. An all-natural stone, granite offers durability, heat tolerance, and requires minimal maintenance. Because it is a porous surface, it should be sealed once or twice a year. Without a proper seal, stains can penetrate the stone. It's a simple task that you can do by yourself. 2. Quartzite is harder than granite, so it is quite durable. Like granite is a porous natural stone and carries the same durability, heat tolerance, and maintenance as granite. The cost of quartzite is a step up from granite and depends on the unique piece you find. Different variations in color and patterns offers exotic design options. 3. Quartz is a man-made countertop. If you have a specific color in mind, or want a consistent pattern throughout your slab, quartz might be an excellent choice for you. Quartz is virtually maintenance free, but it is heat sensitive and lacks the scratch resistance that natural stone
Not necessarily! It is good to start gathering design ideas and material options before your consultation, but the layout and design should be done with the guidance of your contractor. Working with knowledgeable licensed contractor during the design process is ideal because they have the ability to consider things that you may not have even thought of!
Once you have locked in your renovation date prepare by clearing the kitchen by completing the following: -Remove wall decor, glassware, and breakables -Empty cabinets -Clearing off countertops and unplug any unused appliances -Clear floors: remove any tables and chairs -Communicate with your contractor with any additional questions. They should provide you additional guidance and tips prior to your renovation.
Most likely not, but it doesn’t need to be a major inconvenience! It’s a great idea to plan for a temporary kitchen before you begin the project. Think about where you can set up a small kitchenette area during renovation. Here are some tips: - Move your refrigerator, pantry items, and cookware to the area the works best for you. - Set up your microwave, utilize your grill, or an electric stove top for cooking. - Set up a prep space to act as your temporary countertops. - Plan easy to prep meals.
