My mother has been using Residential Home Health for approximately a year. All of the nurses, health aides, physical and occupational therapists have been excellent. They are great people providing great care. Unfortunately, I had my 1st experience with a "nursing supervisor" today who was the most hard headed, unreasonable, power tripping, unprofessional person I've ever met. I'm amazed this person has a position as supervisor. I canceled service today and will find another provider. God help anybody that has to speak with this "supervisor".

DO NOT USE RESIDENTIAL HOSPICE. They offer neither care nor compassion. Their nurse told us that they could not offer treatment and wanted to only give our father morphine. We discharged them. They said he would not live more than a day and he was alert and conscience for several more months. They also demanded to exchange our equipment, which we did. They did that so they could independently bill medicare. After we fired them for such poor care they demanded their property immediately, even calling the police!!! They had no compassion. When we needed them the most...they were not there for us.

Professional, kind people helping us through a difficult time.

Residential has been amazing from the start, from the initial call with Chase, to the Nurse Cynthia and the Social Worker Angela, everyone has been very responsive and so kind and helpful!

Yes. Medicare pays for Hospice. When a patient has Medicare and they Elect the Hospice Benefit, Medicare will pay for Hospice services. Each person has a different situation, some people may have Medicare secondary to another insurance, so Medicare eligibility would be verified prior to hospice services.
Is it possible to become certified while on the job. I am an experienced home care giver and have worked with many hospice patients
Hi Sandra. No, we do not hire medical assistants. Thanks for your inquiry.
