Everytime I need dental work done it take 2 months for them to approve the procedure after multiple denials. They take your money and don't want to pay for anything you need done. If the employer has Met Life, look for employment elsewhere. These benefits don't benefit anyone but them.

I have called the out of country service rep multiple times and got completely different answers. I sent in typed documentation 3X for information on 2 policies over which I am POA and court ordered Conservator. All legal documents mailed. Today I got back confirmation on change of beneficiary and the name is spelled incorrectly (my copy is very neatly written) AND they still can't figure out that there are 2 policies even though I have corrected every form and sent separate typed letters with both policy numbers. Today the phone rep is telling me to redo the forms and switch the numbers and send it in again! Time #4. If I didn't fill things out correctly or it was not legible, I could understand. The policy holder has dementia and delusions and is severely cognitively impaired. I am wondering how the office staff that cannot get this right rates on the cognitive scale.

You call customer service and after waiting on hold for 10 to 15 minutes your call is diverted to a call center outside the US. I have called 4 times to obtain payment on a life insurance policy and each time I get different instructions, have.to fill out another form etc. Just glad I don’t have other policies with this company. 9/6/22 still have not received payment. Called and was advised I had to sign a state tax withholding of 4.24% which is mandatory anyhow. There customer care phones reroute you to Costa Rica or Philippines. Stock has tanked from 73.18 to57.05.

I just spoke to one of their representatives out of the county, no help, what so ever. I am thinking of reporting this company . They gave a loan to someone from my policy that I had no idea until I recently received a tax form. I am thinking someone in their company committed fraud or they the company was hacked. I need to talk to a US person because the amount is Grand Larceny. I am besides myself and I am not going to let this just slid by.
If you are still stonewalled on this fraud complaint, the Met Life main webpage has a location to report FRAUD. The telephone system and complaints going to foreign entities are a waste.
