*update: I think he tried to delete this comment lol because I can’t see it when I’m not on this account* If you have curly hair please find someone else because the haircut I received from this salon was TERRIBLE. At first when I was describing what I wanted to him (literally just shoulder length cut with layers) he looked nervous due to me having a lot of curly hair. I asked if he could blow dry my hair after the cut and he said no as it would take too much time and that we didn’t have enough time to do it (we arrived 10 mins early and he finished before the hour). I was a bit hesitant but still chose to continue (my mistake). He washed my hair once and conditioned it. This is where the horror begins. He asked me again where I wanted to have the cut. I pointed to my shoulder and he began to cut. I might as well have gotten a haircut from Edward scissors hands himself as he went cut crazy cutting various lengths of hair. At the moment I wasn’t really sure how short the cut was but now I realized how short he went. He not only went shorter than what I asked for, but some parts of my hair was cut soo short I can’t even do a decent high ponytail. He tried his best to add curl gel that later on just left a crusty mess in my hair and kept brushing out my curly hair till it was a frizzy mess. Once I left the salon, I rewashed my hair properly and blow dried it which revealed the mess he did with my hair. My hair looks so choppy and uneven that I think I’m going to have to wear caps/beanies until it grows out to a decent length. This haircut has made me depressed and regretful that I even came here. I will never return to his salon and warn everyone who doesn’t have pin straight hair to AVOID AT ALL COST!!

I had been going to Michael for almost 2 years. I was so skeptical in chopping my hair off and decided one day let’s do it. When I went to Michael the first time I picked one of the hairstyles he had done already in the past. Was pretty content with it. Every time after that, I showed him a picture of what I wanted. At that time I was still figuring out what type of haircut would look best but still wanted something simple. I finally decided to go with short with taper fade. I showed him a picture of how I wanted it. His response was “oh that short ? “ I said “yes would that be a problem” . He said no. First time he did it was okay. Wasn’t too happy about it because there were some spots he missed some spot he has shaved too much. I decided to give him another shot went one last time. I showed him a haircut again taper fade short with side part. He had completely messed up the cut from the front and the fade. When I told him it doesnt look like what I wanted his words were “I’m not an expert in really short hair” and he doesn’t know how to do fades that well. I won’t be going to him ever. If you think you can’t do a hairstyle just say so don’t waste peoples time and money. If you want a haircut or hairstyle you like for him to do ask him first.

I've never seen a hairdresser love his job so much... He does everything to make us feel comfortable, as evidenced by the leather sofa in front of the TV where you can listen to Pink... 🥰 Also every time he sees that we have a little bit of hair somewhere on our face, he removes it directly... Her specialty is short hair, and it shows!!! I will come back with pleasure, I really felt comfortable, safe, and understood because the cut is superb!! :)
