The food is really good at El Pollo loco but the staff is not friendly. They are rude. Ignore you like you're not a valid customer. I was standing when a senior citizen was trying to place an order and she got confused. The employee was not very nice to her The employee needs to learn to have patience for our senior citizens. Yes did you get confused sometimes but have patience for them because one day you're going to be that senior citizen That's going to be one of your family members. How will he make you feel if I mistreated your family member, your mother or your father? It's not very nice. Please educate your employees to be courtesy to anybody who comes into the Pollo loco in Riverside in la Sierra. Thank you for being the standing.

The chicken was inedible. It was so dry and hard we couldn’t barely eat it. We ordered the Family meal and had to throw it away. The salad was thrown together and they didn’t even ask us if we wanted salad dressing. I don’t know if they were having a bad day or they couldn’t handle the rush but nobody should serve food that’s not edible no wouldn’t give that to my dog. We came around 1 pm.

You will spend 20 minutes on average in the drive thru line. When you get to the window you're greeted by a friendly employee, a bonus after the long wait. Then you get home to find fruit flies smeared into the avocado. Or perhaps the hair in the soup is what you prefer. I wish this was isolated to this location, but I have experienced the same problems at mulitple locations in different counties. Either way El Pollo Loco is officially off the places where I will eat in the future.

Ordered using the app for pick up. Order was not ready (based on ready time). They looked short staffed. Before pandemic, this place was quick with Order turn around, since pandemic its become annoying HAVING to order from here. - Curb side pick up is typically 5-10min late (which matters on a lunch break) - ordering inside for takeout seemed worse Food has always been great and tasty, typical for a Pollo Loco. The order delay is what gives this spot 2 stars

Not that I know of. They're so busy inside the kitchen that it's not out of the ordinary for them to ignore the phone and attend to the guests right in front of them.
