We flew into Yuma & stayed there. Drove to the boarder (Andrade exit) 15mins away & crossed on foot to Los Algodones, Mexico. Parked the car daily for $6 with no issues at all. Please note : this boarder crossing is currently only opened 6am-2pm (daily) for now. Also the wait time to cross back over to the USA was very quick. Even on a saturday. Officers were all very polite. No issues at all. I was prescribed meds due to my dental work which i showed them & passed without issue. Just NO controlled substances.

I do not know due to the virus issue. If it were me I would contact US Customs

That is incorrect the border is still open only closes at 2 p.m. and doesn't open until 7 a.m. so border crossing is available to American Travelers for dental work

The Port in Andrade closes at 2 in the afternoon and opens up at 6 in the morn. evert day....

If you are crossing at Los Algodones, two hours. Just crossed on Sunday 6/6/21

As of 6/22/21 the border closes at 2pm and was told by officer it would remain at those hours for another 30 days.

Be sure to get in line at least an hour early.

I know you need your pass port birth certificate and drivers license. If you have that you should be fine . Get there at like 8 or 9 . Get in and get out or you will be waiting in line for atleast 2 hours .

You need a recent ver check showing your dog is healthy and up to date on vaccinations. We tell the vet we are planning on going across the border and they known what we need.

If you are going to Algodones, they are open at 7, they close the border at 2pm. You can bring back what they sell. I believe it is 1 bottle of alcohol per adult. I go a couple times a month

I'm not sure about mids limit but the border is open, they are not requiring a Visa to go with the passport and you have to be back over the border by 2:00 p.m.

While the US/MX border is open to Algodones for dental work, the US/Canadian border remains closed. I would call the border patrol at Los Algodones for accurate info. I would hate to take the chance of being stranded.

I think so, however, we took our passports when we went for dental work. We drove into Los Algodones, but saw several US citizens walk there. You can go online to US Customs to double check. I hope this was helpful.

If you are American citizens maybe yes , we cross with AZ I'd but sometimes they give to you a hard time, because they ask more questions and/or need your passport good luck & remember they closed at 2pm everyday

Andrade is closing at 2pm everyday its been almost 2 months they start closing early every single day 😑

Hi Brian I am assuming you are referring to the Algodones border. Personally I would pay extra for an expedited passport card or book however if you truly want to take a chance carry as much ID as you possibly can however I would not advise it Hope that helps a little.

I called today and talked to an officer, he said a birth certificate and id is sufficient. He also warned me though it would take a while to get through the line. I already expected that though.

If you park in the daily lot they will TOW your car to Yuma if it is left overnight. Do not make this mistake. There is a separate lot for longer-term parking at the same entry point, but I am not sure if it allows you to park for more than one night. Do your homework before you decide to do this.
