Respect to the families during that tragic day/ event. My heart and soul goes out to them. Definitely a site to see.

I wish they fix it up

Located off of 65th street on St. Lawrence Ave. In the heart of Chicago's Legendary south side. I loved it, the kids loved it. It has a powerful energy, history, and love. I highly recommend visiting Mamie and Emmett Till's home.

The US Government owns it. You cannot buy it. It is a historical landmark. No one has lived in it since Mamie Till
If you're interested in paying your respects to Emmett and Mamie Till due to the tragedy they experienced which impacted history... I suggest going during the day time if gang activity is a concern for some individuals. This historic building may not be there much longer as the entire block looks like it will be knocked down and rebuilt, one house at a time. I recommend planning a 10-15 minute visit if ones choose to go and I do recommend a visit.
Who are those people?
