I went with my friends and we had an amazing time! We played the hardest room, "High Noon", and barely escaped. Overall great atmosphere and a lot of challenging fun! Would go back again for the other rooms.

They do accept walk ins! I'm not sure if they accept single players, but that may be a game time decision depending on the other group. Definitely can go and sign up with your group, do a little shopping or eating, then hop on back for your scheduled time.
