Two weeks ago, I visited the BloomTownship for their Senior Center food pantry services. Seniors citizens are allowed to visit their pantry at least once per month. Although I was serviced today. But was told that today would be my last day for their food pantry. In my opinion, eventhough, the first time I came to BloomTownship. I presented all the necessary and required paperwork and proof of address. This time I was told I could not return again for food items to assist me budget my food at home on a retirement income. Their Reason being I reportedly did not reside in their service district. But initially I was accepted. Overall their pantry did assist me with fresh milk, eggs, some vegetables/fruit and two meat items. I was told to locate my need for food items to Thornton township as needed.

This is my local food pantry. The people were nice but much of the items given out were expired (like several months old) which is a concern.

Very nice people. Food is decent can't complain. Only problem is they're saying you can get food once a month I'm like I could have swore we were able to get food every two weeks? Please somebody let me know. I went the beginning part of August 2022
