I came here in the morning and got to stay all day. Firefighters Manny and Juan said since they weren’t doing anything I could hang with them. They even fed me (meh). I got to say the highlight was getting a tour from a firefighter named Isaac. He was so funny. I wonder why he’s not on the show, he seems made for Hollywood.

Read the reviews and see what these people are about. You can come up and take pictures outside no problem, but they will come out and offer you a complete tour, the ins and outs of what they really do, how filming works and the entire history of the station and the Great Fire. From the Captain all the way down, every single person here was friendly and informative. I can not go on how amazing and welcoming they were. Truly a class act. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness.
My family and I are planning a trip to Chicago tomorrow. We live just south of Peoria. I'm a former volunteer firefighter. Had to give it up due to medical issues. Is station 51 open for touring? Id love to stop and visit for a few.
What other units are stationed here besides Engine 18?

Hello, good morning, my son Jesús Samuel is 9 years old. He loves Chicago Fire Station 51 from the moment he started seeing firefighters. He says that when he grows up he wants to be a firefighter. We are from Picó Truncated Santa Cruz.
