I worked for pizza shift night shift (outbound dock). I had high expectations because everyone talks about this facility but, nobody knew what they were doing. I was not recognized for my actions picking with a rate of 250 boxes per hour and ontop of everything what frustrated me the most is that they did not pay me the correct amount and HR did nothing about it.

I applied for a job with Amazon in Wilmington IL. I followed the steps necessary to begin the process. I attended the pre hire event in Channahon IL at which time I told the Amazon associate that I chose the "donut" shift working M T (off W )T F off weekends. I was given a start date for 8/15 however I was notified a day later of the completion of my background. So as not to drag this story out..... Amazon tried to bait and switch me into working two different undesirable shifts i.e. 3rd shift and/or working all weekend. I believe the shift I originally chose wasn't available in reality and this was the "bait" to actually try and fill the shifts that few people want. Thank God I have a varied work history and experience in many areas. I was able to find employment very close to home.
