Buyer Beware - Your Furniture May Never Come After having paid for a custom Oskar sofa from EQ3, and waiting nearly three months for its manufacture and delivery, the sofa never made it to me and was cancelled. There’s a couple reasons for this, both which point to poor EQ3 operations internally and with their delivery contractor. FIRST, EQ3 has a horrid delivery contractor, XPO Logistics. Once XPO had possession of the sofa from EQ3, they cancelled delivery seven times on me. This included cancelling delivery on the same day, just never arriving with no notification despite the 12-hour delivery window they provide, calling to tell me they never actually received the sofa from EQ3, then finding they do have the sofa but still fail to deliver it, and my favorite - calling to tell me they’re outside with my sofa, but they’re not outside and they never come. Check out delivery reviews of XPO Logistics on Trustpilot, and you’ll see my experience isn’t unique. BUT THERE’S MORE! On the eighth try, the XPO delivery truck finally arrived! But it turns out that EQ3 shipped the wrong sofa to XPO, which they then tried to deliver to me. My sofa—the one that I had been waiting on for months and through seven failed deliveries—was nowhere to be found. At that point, EQ3 refunded the order (thankfully, as I was completely done with them). The EQ3 sales associate at their Chicago store was nothing but a pleasure to work with and, once the problems started, this individual was apologetic and always responsive. I won’t blame this individual for the fact that EQ3’s logistics, shipping, and delivery appear to be a total disaster, or that EQ3’s corporate customer care team never even bothered to contact me. Now I get to start a multi-month wait for another sofa all over again! But this time, not from EQ3 - I’ve learned my lesson.

Wonderful staff and awesome collection. Its not IKEA but they do have some very affordable pieces for every price range and everyone is very nice and cordial.

Just took delivery of our couch from EQ3. So delighted with it. It looks amazing and is extremely comfy. Everything ran so smoothly from order to delivery. Big shout out to Mara who looked after us and was excellent. Highly recommend.

I ordered a bed and a sofa sight unseen through Mara a few months ago. I have received both pieces an am astounded at the quality and the value. They are very solid, no plastic in sight. I went with the Joan sofa which is extremely comfortable, and is very true to the swatch color. I also can’t believe how quickly I received both pieces given the horrendous shipping issues going on in the world right now. Mara was wonderful to work with, from ordering to updates to checking how delivery went. I’ll definitely be returning whenever I need another quality yet reasonably priced piece of furniture.

Yes! In order to avoid the hassle of setting up your new furniture, we offer White Glove assembly service to most addresses. Simply choose this option at checkout either in-store or online and, for a small additional charge, we will deliver your furniture, set it up in your home, and remove all packaging. Please note that White Glove delivery is not available for the installation of pendant lighting, hanging art, mirrors, clocks, shelving, or shelving units affixed to walls. Delivery and assembly fees are non-refundable.
