Not Just Cookies

I left a review on Uber eats, but I don’t think it went through, so I’m going to leave a review here and hopefully this company will read it. First off, the red velvet cupcake that I ordered was not a traditional red velvet cupcake. The cupcake was this weird, brown color and was not the color of a true red velvet cupcake. Not only did it look weird, but it didn’t taste rich like a red velvet cupcake usually does. Honestly, I couldn’t even figure out the true flavor of the cupcake or what flavor this restaurant was going for. To top everything off, the cupcake was very dry, the cream cheese icing had a strange “arse” smell to it, and although the cream cheese icing tasted somewhat good, it didn’t taste freshly made as most cream cheese frostings usually taste, but instead tasted very processed. Secondly, although I enjoyed the portion size of the butter cookies, the flavor was very bland and was just not there for my liking. I believe that the butter cookies could have been a tad more sweet than they were, for I should be able to taste the flavors of the cookie immediately after taking my first bite, which unfortunately did not happen. The cookies did have a nice crunch to them, so I’ll give you props for that. Overall, I wanted to treat myself to a sweet treat for the day and wanted to give a new restaurant a chance. I am disappointed that I’ve wasted my carbs and calories on these items today. Would I order from here again? No. Would I suggest my friends and family order from here? No.

Ordered 4 packs of butter cookies based off picture online! Cookies are delivered w Christmas sprinkles on them so do not look like what’s pictured on their site. It’s Jan 7th, nit just why are they selling Christmas cookies but why are they selling at regular price! Also, I tasted 1 cookie and it’s extremely cold so makes me question the freshness!
