Always one of my first stops when I visit Chicago .. As a native Little Italy New York girl, I know quality pastry and bread when I taste it. This is the real deal. Don't waste your calories in any other Italian Bakery. I always grab a few Sfogliatella with the beautiful rich filling, and light flaky pastry shell. They look like clam shells in case you have no idea what I am talking about. The bread is the best as well. Crispy crunch crust all around an airy bread inside. I need this more in my life. Their sandwiches are very good as well. A true Italian sub done right!!

One of favorite places to stop for lunch on the way to work. I usually grab an Italian sub and maybe a cannoli. They use their homemade bread and it is the best bread in the city - hands down! They have an array of pastries, pizza, and an old-school espresso machine. 100 stars
