1. Use The Installation Disc and Manufacturer’s Instructions You should always use the disc that was included with the printer along with the manufacturer’s instructions. If you don’t have the printer’s manual any longer, try to do a Google search to find the model and name of your printer and add the word “manual” to your search (e.g. HP Deskjet 3755 manual). 2. Go To the Manufacturer’s Website and Download the Printer Drivers If you don’t still have the DVD or CD from the manufacturer, you need to go to the manufacturer’s website and download it. 3. How To Install a Printer That is Shared on a Network To add a printer to your network that is connected to another computer, make sure that the printer is shared first. 4. Set The Houston Commercial Printer As Your Default Printer If you have several printers, it is possible to set one of them as the default printer. In Windows, right-click on the name of your printer and then select “Set as default printer.
What are Multifunction Printers? Multifunction Printers, or MFPs, are devices that combine the functionalities of a printer, fax, scanner, and/or copier into a single machine. For budget-minded businesses wanting to improve workflow, reduce costs, and consolidate assets, multifunction printers are one of the best commercial printers to consider. If you are considering a scanner also, check out our multifunction printer list, specifically those that are recommended to use for scanning documents.
Life Expectancy Of A Houston Commercial Printer For example, there are two laser printers that I know of that have maximum duty cycles that are significantly different – 5,000 pages and 20,000 pages – but basically, have the same lifetime design of around 50,000 pages. If the maximum duty cycle is hit every month for both, the first printer would have a tenth-month life expectancy while the second one would last fewer than three months. A majority of Houston commercial printers fall in the three to ten-month life expectancy range at their maximum duty cycle. However, you need to have both the design lifetime and maximum duty cycle in order to determine where a printer falls within the range. Check your manual to see the exact duty cycle of your printer as it can vary by product.
