I went to purchase chop block for small flower bed project maybe about 20 ft length needed total. I was told last week they sold by pound so returned yesterday to select blocks needed. The big guy who is very arrogant came out and said "Sir you cannot cherry pick the sizes you need, you need to let us weigh pallet and buy in layers." The blocks on pallet were mostly broken so why would I pay more for broken pieces not needed?

I went in to price 2.5 yards of dyed black mulch on a Saturday. Price for the product and delivery charge was cheaper than a closer competitor. I purchased the mulch and arranged for the delivery of the mulch on Monday. The mulch was delivered in the morning as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to use Texas Soil and Outfitters for future projects.

I called three weeks ago to order a top dressing for my yard. The lady who advised me said that I should get the Garden Mix. I purchased 2 cubic feet which i spread over the next sevaral days. The mix had a lot of small wood mulch material and a lot of small rocks (like river rock). There was no sign/smell of manure or other nutrients. After three weeks, with watering my yard looks worse than it ever has. The grass that is covered by the soil (about 1/2 inch) is dying. This was the wrong soil for the job. I am very disappointed.

Texas soil and sand does not.
~$85 IS WHAT IT COST TO GET IT TO BROADWAY AND 410
3/4 is a typical size for road base or crushed limestone gravel, but not for River Rock. TS&S does have a few different mixes of river rock from pea gravel size up to 5". Each mix might contain a couple different sizes.
