The police officers are very nice, but they need to do a lot more to assist the homeless. Unfortunately, me, my father, and his service dog (Achilles) are homeless right now, and we were told to go to a bigger town, sleep at Taco Bell or a 24 hour gas station, or wander around away from any residential or commercial property. My father is an Army Veteran with many health issues, so Poplar Bluff and the Police Department need to step their game up!

This is and outstanding police department. They are always professional and go beyond in the attempt to help during difficult situations. Poplar Bluff residents should feel safe knowing that they have this department working for them!

Really!?! Would City Hall or the city activities manager be the correct person to ask this line of questions? Questions related to public safety or if John Doe is threatening you. PBPD is thou best bet to call.
