Flavorful, and mostly very authentic, Italian food always prepared to perfection (this is a must and something Davanti has mastered). Warm and sophisticated, but casual, atmosphere with a decent size outdoor space... dress for your own occasion and you'll be just fine. We don't make it here often but it's been in our regular rotation for at least 8 years because of the consistency, quality, and service. Family meal, date night, girls night, kids, no kids... eat here and you can't go wrong.

Been coming here for a couple times now. Always have a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and very professional. The Davanti Burger is one of Chicago's best burgers out there and it's very delicious! Highly recommend! Reservations is needed to dine in. Will be coming back another time!

From drinks to food everything was delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the decor just as welcoming. Love that they are following the vaccine mandate and checking for proof as well as encouraging social distancing and masks.

First time we went to this rustic, come as you are fine Italian small plates restaurant. We kept ordering things to try because they weren't to pricey and sad it turned out delicious. I'm going back to the restaurant with more people. Their RICOTTA VASI looked fabulous. We kept seeing tables order this dish. We needed to save room for the small plates so we missed trying it out. The table next to us( a good distance away) had already ordered the prosciutto-veal meatballs. The two of them could only order dessert after eating the giant portion in front of them. They say they were delicious. Lots for kids to eat and it's a good place to bring them. The butcher's cut could be for two easily. We ordered it instead of the burger. It was a good choice. But for sure I'm going back just to have the burger. Fun place. Great outdoor seating. Go with lots of people- they handled crowds well. The pizza oven is centered on a wall in the main restaurant. Great new find for us.

No, but if you have more than two or three people or have a specific time in mind, I'd definitely make one.
They're taking safety very seriously here. Masks are required to enter, temp check at the door and socially distanced tables. They can't do bottomless mimosas anymore but they will sell you a bottle of prosecco and you'll barely miss it. Naturally the food continues to be top notch
