They don't allow you to play single. When my husband and I Went they took his money and then proceeded afterwards tell him they don't allow singles then complained that it was costing them money to allow him to play single threw a fit and was very disrespectful and rude about it. If you don't allow singles please just say so before payment is made and to openly become upset about "losing money"in front of a customer is really disrespectful. Also never as a spectator with my husband have I ever had to let them know that I'm a spectator I clearly did not have any golf clubs and I clearly was not playing.. Not really sure how I'm supposed to know that spectators are not allowed when you don't say anything on the phone when the person calls to make the tee time period also also nothing was mentioned about singles when the phone call was made earlier when tee time was secured. Clearly this couse is all about money. Some people enjoy playing golf by themselves. Fix the unprofessional attitude. And I now can update this as you can see the very defensive and disrespectful reply of the person running it. 1st of all we were playing behind 2 sets of foursoms and we're waiting about 20 minutes in between each swing so I'm pretty sure having a single on the course isn't the thing that's gonna ruin people's experience but the thing that does ruin people's experience is you packing 500 people on a golf course just to make money making people like us who just have one wait for a 1/2 an hour in between each swing but thank you very much for your obvious defensive disrespectful reply showing everybody how rude and unprofessional you truly are Not to mention the fact that our tea time was at 1:30 not 4 PM so obviously you have us confused with someone else you freaked out on. We literally golf every weekend and will never golf here again. Not only was the golfing experience very unsatisfying due to waiting a 1/2 an hour inbetween each swing and the attitude and disrespect from the person taking the tee times without being clear about the rules that they are so adamant after the fact... There was no Marshal in sight to to make sure that the people who were betting, Screwing around taking their sweet time and looking for their golf ball for 40 minutes we're moving things along as they should on a golf course... Your attitude shows through right here just as it did when checking in for golf.

I love this course, but its getting beat up by golfers who have zero Etiquette for golf or a golf course. If I were the Marshal people would be getting the boot. Saw someone today miss a short putt waiting on #13. He smashed the flag down next to the hole. I fixed the gash in the grass when we got to the green. Yelled to him that was unnecessary. He gave me the flying bird & said I don't own the place, but told him I do know the owner & management. They skipped #13 & never saw them again. I teed off at 12:24 so it was the 12: 16 tee time. Whoever they were. Take care of the course & it will take care of you. Prices go up when it takes more to keep in good shape. Remember that.

Best course for your dollar in Gig Harbor. Pace of play is very good, 4 hrs weekdays, 4.5 hrs weekends. Easily walkable with some elevation change but not a lot. Green to tee distances are not on top of each other but certainly close enough to be easily walkable. There is a driving range but irons only. Typical Tavern style food and a decent bar. Course is not super long but gives your golf brain various challenges of distance, club selection, shot targeting, and putting. Green are in decent shape and well maintained. I would recommend this course.
