I'm surprised by the bad reviews. It was a six month wait to get in, but I felt like the care I received was very good so that was no big deal. Dr. Oakley was beyond excellent and the staff have been very helpful. Would recommend.

wait times can be a bit obnoxious, but Dr. Oakley and the whole team is working very hard to provide every patient with superior levels of care. I am perfectly fine with waiting because I know decisions about my care won't be rushed and my symptoms won't be ignored or overlooked.

When I went to this clinic, after seeing me, the doctor I saw told me “patients like you, doctors can’t do much for.” He dismissed my nerve pain which has now been going on for two more years and getting worse (I waited a year to get in). He also was not able to help with my dysautonomia, even though that’s what a neurologist is supposed to be able to help with, and then finally I was supposed to get in for some tests but they were impossible to coordinate with. Due to moving I didn’t continue seeing them.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. I sought care here and they staff asked for my consent to obtain outside medical records. I signed the consent, and-- nothing. They just didn't do it. When I asked about the status, they told me, in no uncertain terms, to "get it myself." When I pointed out their inconsistency, I was told they "didn't have the staff to go around retrieving medical records" which, mind you, the doctor asked me for, and which I signed for in the office. For what is supposed to be one of the best medical centers in the country, the Neurology clinic is run quite poorly, with rude and disrespectful staff. A "get it yourself" mentality is not one a patient wants to see in a medical care center.
