The people are very polite and professional to work with when you talk to them. Unfortunately I've been waiting almost a month for a quote and can't seem to get one on for a new automatic pool cover. It's been weeks since they came and did the onsite evaluation and took measurements and every time I've spoken with someone since, the update I get is "I'm working on it I'll have it for you soon" either my 6 foot by 34 foot pool is a very complicated case or they dont need the business. Either way im screwed. Very disappointed.

We now understand why none of the home warranty companies will include these automatic pool covers in their coverage of pool equipment. We also regret that we did not see these other reviews prior to adding a little under nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00) for the "safety cover" to the pool construction costs. Our pool cover was installed with the Sylvan Anthony pool by the local dealer, Aqua Safe, in 2019. We did notice at the time that the cover had a wrinkle. A year later, one of the pulley ropes broke. Our existing home warranty covered it with their contractor, but refused to cover it again when two years later, both ropes broke in December 2021. We went back to the dealer who replaced both ropes and charged us $750. February 2021, we opened the pool cover for the first time since its repair but it ran off the tracks, and partially submerged in the pool. The Dealer charged us $140 to fix and basically said that it was our fault as the operators. Thinking about a "safety automatic pool cover?" Our advice is to shop carefully and read these reviews first.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! My 3 year old pool cover broke, causing hundreds of dollars in repairs and it took months to get the parts. When I complained to Cover Pools, they didn't even respond. My local dealer is nice enough, but the product is NOT RELIABLE!'

First, ensure there is no standing water on the cover using your cover pump. Then check your electrical breakers, they may have been tripped. Refer to your owners manual and confirm the type of system and features your cover (you can also find your system manual at coverpools.com/resources/owners-manual) to review your specfic operating and troubleshooting sections. There is also an included emergency procedures section explaining how to manually cover or uncover your pool. After completing these steps you may contact your installing dealer or call us at 800-447-2838.
