I go here all the time with my dog. It's not as well maintained as it could be but it's a good place to get away to a lake. Swimming and all water activities are available. I love it especially for 4th of July! Great fireworks, lots of family BBQ fun and it's a great environment for 4th of July!

Wish the picnic tables weren't so far from the beach & occupied by a weird bunch of dudes that were overly interested in us. And wish the lake had showers. It was a brown lake & didn't think anything about it til I took off my swimsuit & found algae already taking root. Otherwise had a lot of fun playing in the lake

Not so spacious beach, the lake is not that big after all. You will not be able to swim, just walk inside the water for a couple of yards. Parking space is not big, again, it's a small place. You will love the calmness and serenity in the early morning with a light sound of tiny waves on the lake shore. No much places ready for you to set. I went there in Saturday early morning, and the place was not well cleaned. Anyway, this place is not bad at all, but not a promising place for a happy family gathering.

This is a pretty decent little area to cast out online and catch some carp, wipers and the occasional catfish. There is usually trash and homeless people hanging around which is the only downside of the area.

Arielle Parfait, yes you can rent things there. I think only on the weekends And at Elm Beach I believe you can only rent jet skis there. Where as on Riverside drive at La Laguna (park) there are more things to rent like kayaks and those water hover things. 🛶 Hope that helps! 😉👍
I'm not sure, we didn't get in the day we went, but it must be possible because my niece did bring hers and I'm sure she would have known that info, so probably yes
Summertime is the worst time to go in the water the water needs to be cleaned up some more.
Tubing is permitted
No
The lake is open to all. Launchpoint is a fee but has amazing amenities great restaurant on Lakeshore called Jack's BBQ in downtown varieties of different types of restaurants. Everything's all that is safe. There are signs in the parking lot that tells you the rules of the lake
