The crater was awesome. Wish they would take the tarp off the top so we could have a little breeze and view of the sky. It was dark and musty with the tarp on the top

I loved it! The experience was amazing! I went to scuba dive for my scuba certification and it went pretty smooth. The water is amazingly warm, highly recommend. Can't wait to come back!

This is a geothermal spring. A hole is at the top of the Crater and lets in sunlight and fresh air. you can walk to the top and feel the hot air escaping from the crator hole at the top. How did it form over 10,000 years .....When the melting snow seeped deep within the earth and 2 miles below the surface the earths interior heats the water. Wow! The water is 90 to 96 degrees. Make reservations for a swim, scuba diving,snorkeling or a nice soak. This is the cool part if you just want to look and not get in the Crater...... it's ok just ask the registration person inside the crater at the desk. You can take some quick 📸

It is pay per person. Hour increments. Snorkeling is also an option.
After sunset there wont be light from the sun but inside of pool has light.
I don't think so. My son is 3 and he was able to get in.

Yes..need to let them know,only certain rooms allow dogs..only 2 to a room..an extra $35.00 a room charge

Yes. Hotel that is associated with the crater has both an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool. We visited in the winter and even though the outdoor pool was closed, the indoor pool (and jacuzzi) were still open to guests. This, however, has nothing to do with the crater itself and the natural hot springs within.
