Don’t ask them for fishing recommendations … refer everyone to the same spot that’s over fished or bone dry. Hire a local guide. Seems like they make recommendations without actually scouting out the waters.

The Tuckaseegee Fly Shop has everything you need for a great day on the River. The Tuckaseegee River in Jackson County and Swain County has Drift Boat ramps and are ready for you to Put in! See the Guides and reserve your 1/2 day or full day on the River. Check out their full line of top name Fly Fishing merchandise and see their website to place an order or just check out the local River Flows and what is the best Fly to use. And don't forget about their Podcast The Tuck Cast With A Splash of Bourbon. They are fun and informative on anything dealing with Western North Carolina and Fly Fishing. A DAY ON THE RIVER IS ALWAYS A GREAT DAY!

Extremely knowledgeable regarding fishing locations and current flies to use. Good selection of flies, $2.4 per fly.
