We had a lovely experience at the Boatyard inn. The staff were super nice and accommodating and poured us glasses of wine upon arrival. The townhouse style rooms we stayed in were very clean and modern. I have nothing bad to say about the boatyard inn. I look forward to returning.

We have stayed here a few times. Our favorite place to stay on Whidbey! Such a relaxed vibe, excellent views. Feels very private, secluded, yet is a very short walk (2min) to town for food/drinks. And the views from the rooms are excellent. Highly recommend.

This place was terrible!! (just kidding) Sorry BYI, I'm tempted to give a trash review to reduce reservation competition. However, this is the greatest place we've found on Whidbey Island!! Design, location, comfortable, perfect non-pushy service, quiet but easily accessible, et.al.. As a professional curmudgeon, there is only one other lodging I've given 5 stars. (spoiler: it's not in WA.) We'll not only return, looking forward to another stay soon.

Stayed in the Marina suite. Very nice room. Literally on the sound with waves lapping outside the door. Loved the heated tile floors in the bathroom. Nice fireplace that puts out a lot of heat. Views are mixed, when we stayed there were a couple boats being worked on in the docks blocking views but usually I imagine it's nice.

We have off season rates starting $165. Winter months with great storm watching days.
