Our cooperative members absolutely love the look of our vintage stools reupholstered by B&D. Adam was always pleasant and great to work with. Turns out they had reupholstered the stools 25 years ago. was a sticker from 25 yes

I could not be more pleased with the work that the guys at B & D did for me! I was about to trash a 16-year old leather couch because the cushions were no longer firm and supportive. I called B & D and described the situation, and they encouraged me to bring the cushions in. We selected a really firm new foam for the insert, and the finished product was ready in a week. Great price and great service. I highly recommend!

We purchased a couch and chairs 20 years ago from an Amish store in Claire, MI while on vacation. The fabric was finally starting to show wear so we decided it was time to get it reupholstered. My wife went into their store to browse their available fabric. The people were very helpful and explained the material differences. We placed the order and just received the updated furniture. The quality was very good and we are pleased with the results. We didn't realize how bad our old cushions were until we got the updated furniture back. No more sagging cushions. We would highly recommend B&D Upholstering for your furniture. Since they do excellent work, the only downside was the waiting for three months to have them pick up the furniture. But it was worth the wait.

It depends on the kind of cushion and how bad they are. Honestly, replacement is usually the best option to get them where you want them. Bring one in anytime Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM and I can see what we can do.
We can certainly upholsterer it in real leather, however it is very expensive. The fake leather on your son's sofa was most likely "recycled leather" which up until a few years ago was a great product that rarely had these peeling issues. A much more affordable option that will also prevent the peeling problem is a vinyl, which will look and feel much like leather but is much cheaper and is available in a variety of textures and colors.
