Had to wonderful experiences here getting passports for not only myself, but my children. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, they allowed walk-ins and were incredibly helpful. I would absolutely recommend this branch.

Very friendly service. The (east) entrance is "enter only". The (west) exit is "exit only". If you miss the entrance and then try to enter by using the exit (or vice versa), be prepared to take your vehicle to a collision shop. I stopped in to renew my passport (appointment required) and then purchased some of the new Christmas and Hanukkah Forever Stamps.

One of the things that could be done with that package is tracking did you have a package with a barcode on it if so you can track it as far as where it's being delivered that's one thing you could do other than that call the Post Office where it's been delivered from

Yes, we do. We have renewal applications available in our lobby. You need to complete the application (in black ink only), a personal check or money order for $110, new passport photos (which we also do for $15), and surrender your old passport. All those items will go into a Priority Flat Rate envelope and be mailed to the Department of State for $7.35. We process passports here today until 3pm, on weekdays between 10am and 6pm.
You definitely can, it just creates a much longer delay in processing. I would suggest processing it online at USPS.com. You just need a credit or debit card; you will charged $1.00. Happy Holidays! 🎄⛄🦌

10am til 3pm today. Super busy on Saturday, so if you can, get there early and pack your patience. 10am til 6pm on Mon thru Fri, but it is advised and strongly suggested that you get there by 5pm on those days
Yes, 10 am til 6 pm on M - F, and 10 am til 3 pm on Sat. On M - F, its recommended to arrive by 5 pm, as its not guaranteeed you'll be seen after that time. Gets very busy after 5 pm...
No appointment necessary; passport processing is from 10 am to 6 pm on Monday - Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday
I just called the post office on 11 mile & lasher at 5pm the recording said they were closed.
Hi Tonya, it depends on if you're renewing or if this is your first application. However, the Southfield US Postal Office is a one stop shop. I recently applied for passport a in Southfield and everything was taken care of right there. The entire process may have taken 45 mins. Hope this helps.
