The new owners (the King family) will take care of you and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is PERFECT... especially if you're here for the 4th of July. The city park is across the street, the fireworks view near the river is a 5 min walk away, and you basically don't have to go more than a block to eat any meal.

This place is under new ownership! We stayed here last minute when our plans to stay over night in Yellowstone were cancelled due to the closure of the park. The woman who checked us in was extremely helpful, and talked with us for quite a while, discussing other options to check out in the area for natural beauty, where to grab a bite to eat, etc. The room was great. Small and slightly dated but very clean. Comfy bed, good air conditioning, clean linens. We were really surprised it wasn't fully booked. Grab a stay if you can, the rate was very reasonable!

We stumbled across Moose Creek Lodge while looking for a quick over night stop on our way to Yellowstone. Upon check in we were impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and hospitality we were given by the front desk clerk, Jenny. We had planned to check out early the next morning and roll into Yellowstone and continue on with our 2 week roadtrip. Jenny was at the desk again that morning and told us that snow had fallen in the park overnight and the gate and main roads were closed. We were in a panic. However, Jenny assured us that she would keep a watch on the National Park website and encouraged us to explore Cody while we waited. As the day went on we realized that we should stay put in Cody and wait. We were traveling as a party of 6 and knew that rooms accommodating large parties are sometimes hard to find. Jenny held our room for us and the extension to our stay went by seamlessly. We would highly recommend staying at Moose Creek Lodge and if we ever find ourselves in Cody again, we will definitely stay there!

The new owners are fabulous! Rooms have been updated and ours was spotless. I was traveling with my 2 Daughters ages 19 and 22 and they loved it also. It was spacious and cozy. All the charm of Cody and hospitality to go with it. It even has the cutest gift shop and great coffee! We can’t wait to go back and we will be staying at the Cutest Moose Creek Lodge!
