I went here on Tuesday and it was my first time here. I had a really good experience. There was a security guard in the parking lot- she checked why I was there. Just to make sure. I also appreciate that to keep our cars safe. I went inside and the officer kindly directed me where to go. The checking in process was easy. I had an appointment to get an immunization- out of pocket pay was decent. The lady at the registration desk told where to go. Nurse Diane who gave my shot made it painless. Didn’t even feel it. She was super easy to talk to as well. I highly recommend this health department over monroe mi.

Nurse's giving covid booster, and nurse giving flu shot ,all very nice and friendly. I didn't feel a thing.

Just as I put on Don Juan’s (Maumee) reviews: Not only do I have family and friends who attend this location all the time, myself and my daughter have came here at least 5 times. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it in and decided to order my daughter and I some food off of Doordash. One of the items order were the fiesta nachos (which looked picture perfect). I was literally on chip 3 when I noticed I kept chewing and something didn’t seem right. I pulled something significantly big out of my mouth! A part of a bag it seemed! You could tell it was almost maybe cooked in with food as well as just a piece of bag. I immediately stopped eating my food. Not only did I call the doordash (not their fault) I called the restaurant and spoke with the “manager” also. A manager who not once did she apologize. She offered me a new meal or a remake or calling door dash for a refund. I asked how does things like this happen and what will be done to prevent this in the future because this is something that could have not only choked someone, but injured them severely if they wouldn’t of been able to realize until it was too late. This woman had the never to tell me she couldn’t hear me because of the band in the background and that I needed to call her back in a hour? Wow. Completely rude, uncaring, and quite frankly doesn’t care about the safety of her guests. My biggest issue is if my daughter would have been eating this ect and something happend, or even myself, it would have been unknown until getting the object out. Definitely won’t be returning and I pray something is done about this. -Unfortunately when I called the heath department the lady who answered the phone seemed miserable and cut me off while I was explaining to her the issue. She cut me off asking me for my name and telephone number and that I would be receiving a call. Now stands over a week since I filed my complaint with no one who has contacted me yet.

Very kind and helpful for getting travel vaccines. Lori Leppala the RN is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Unlike a lot of clinics that I called looking for vaccine information for travel, Lori took the time to actually look into what I needed and provided me with very detailed information. She also was great at administering the shots and even provided a travel packet with helpful information about the countries that I was visiting. Above and beyond- thank you Lori!

The governor said to take temps, but they should use a scanner. Taking temps by mouth is not wise UNLESS each employee is given their own thermometer.
There are sliding fee scales for those without insurance. Not all services are available due to clinics closing
