Live in the tukwila area. I reccomend this pantry and thrift reusable items. Nice lady who works there who really cares about her clients.

For a food bank I was impressed people treated like you were going to beings and not like the number just trying to be pushed through

Beforehand, I have volunteer here. And Starbucks, Grocery Outlet, BECU & Safeway..donations came in. If you needed help in community. Adele, James, Lodi & Daxx very helpful. Plus, Mrs. Pastor is there for question too make sure it runs smoothly on Saturday in the church areas too.

Would have been a 5 star if they didn't make us wait outside in the cold, first time there. So I was clueless as to how to get food. There was no sign, saying what the steps are. And the gentleman who was calling out#'s never asked if it was anyone's first time. For a minute I thought I might get frost bite on my toes. But, everyone but the door Man was very nice and helpful

Hello I'm not really sure but you can always bring it by and try and we'll let you know also Tuesday Thursday and Saturday we really need volunteer help if it's just for 2 hours or 1 hour we appreciate that thank you be safe and take care of yourself. thank you all the pantry
Definitely disagree with you here. Everyone who walks into the Tukwila Food Pantry shops and gets plenty of food. The same food choices are there all day. Volunteers don't get foods that are different from the rest of the community. We pick through the same crates as everyone else. Yes, we do put our groceries away as soon as done shopping. By the way we all work long hours for zero dollars. Five to nine hour days depending on the position. So yes we get food. As for being ashamed no I am quite proud to be assisting those in need. I feel good about what I do and where I work/volunteer. We help a lot of people.
The pantry needs volunteers on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday. Show up around 9 a.m. . You'll sign a volunteer sheet explain rules and policies it'll take about 10 or 15 minutes.
Unreasonable expectations leads yo anger and disappointment. These caring people have lives too. Treat with respect rcv respect. They do all they can with what they have and the community in which they serve
Probably, why don't you Google their phone number and call before wasting time?
I believe so but money will be better for them I think
Tuesday Thursdays and Saturdays
