It's heartbreaking for me to be rating this place very low as I have been using this service for almost 9 years. Up to this point, there hasn't been any issues with this service. The process was very simple; you instantly have a shuttle to bring you to the airport, and you only need to wait around 1-2 minutes for a shuttle to bring you back to the Extra Car center. However, my experience from the last couple of days was absolutely ridiculous. The shuttle from and to Extra Car parking was all good... until it comes to the process of getting the car back. My family of four waited for MORE THAN 30 MINUTES to get the car back (which is something we have never seen before). The reason? "We need to unblock your car... blah blah blah". I don't like to dictate someone else's job, but if someone is arriving at a certain time, isn't it common sense to get the car out beforehand? (Mind you, they didn't even bother bringing the car out even after we arrived). There is no way this "couldn't have been avoided". As a customer for 9 years, it's safe to say that I will never come back to this service again. To the nice people that work there, I'm sorry you have such inert co-workers.

The kind folks at Extra Car are the best. My first experience with parking my car with them while I flew out of town was so seamless and wonderful, I've stayed with them ever since. Everyone there is courteous and their operation is efficient. Highly recommended!!!

Our family has been parking with Extra Car for years. This is a family run local business that keeps reasonable SeaTac airport parking shuttle services. I am writing about our experience of Extra Car damaging our vehicle and how they worked to make things right (quick brief version for readers not wanting to read further- expect the process to take time, and if the damage was caused by Extra Car they will take responsibility and get your car fixed): We went on a trip in January 2022 and parked with Extra Car. When we returned from our trip and were picked up by Extra Car, we discovered that they had damaged our family mini van pretty extensively with scrapes and body damage along the side of the van. We filled out an incident report paper form provided by them, made copies for them and myself, and took pictures (be sure to fill out the report and take pictures). Next steps from there were to wait for a call from one of the managers, or to follow up with them in a few days. (One thing to note from other reviews we read is that a number of customers' experience was that they didn't hear back from Extra Car and were frustrated at the lack of response or "ghosting") Initially, I didn't hear from Extra Car, so I started calling and leaving messages. I finally got a response back, and Extra Car began their investigation into the damage. This process took longer than I expected and was frustrating at times because communicating with the company was difficult at times, and many days would go by before I got a response. Meanwhile, I got estimates from auto body shops to repair the damage. After a few weeks from the incident, the owner of Extra Car got back to me and accepted responsibility for the damage and asked me to select a shop to get the repairs done. Extra Car completely paid for ALL the damage caused to our van as well as paid for a rental car while our van was in the shop. We could have gone through our auto insurance company to get the repairs done, however Extra Car was trying to work in good faith with me directly to resolve the damage. I want to share this experience for anyone out there who may have had or will have damage done to their vehicle at Extra Car. Extra Car will take responsibility for damages they cause. Just expect the process to take longer than expected, and know that communication between parties can be slow. We will park with Extra Car again in the future!

I've been a customer of this business for many years. Their car lots are reasonably priced. Your vehicle is completely protected. Their drivers are kind and prompt in responding to calls. They'll even assist you with your stuff. When catching a flight out of Seattle, Extra Car Airport is a great spot to leave your car.

Depending on the day of the week and how busy they are, they may have as many as 2 or 3 shuttles running at a time. On busy days the shuttles generally work in rotation so that there is one at the airport and one at the office pick up point. these usually run at 5 to 15 minute intervals. On lighter days there may be only one shuttle and that interval time ranges from 10 to 20 minutes. I hope this helps!!!
