Great place to get the kids run. Great for dogs too. The view of the mountain is gorgeous. Be ok with the farm smell though. 😉

Very peaceful. An easy flat 4+ mile out and back trail. Well maintained. Tons of waterfowl wildlife to take in.

If you are looking for an easily accessible walking trail, this one id for you. You can bike it but it is a short ride. Breathtaking views of the bay and Skagit farmlands. Birders will love all the birding there. Note, it can get windy along the trail so you may want to bring a jacket. Gravel paths so not too muddy. You will want to use the porta potty at the beginning of the trail by the parking area there is no other.

What a great place for a walk and fresh air! Just a crushed gravel pathway for 4-1/4 miles round trip. The walking path sits atop a dike along a mud flat then out to a large bay. Very flat and wide and easy to walk on. Herons and ducks and seagulls will accompany you. There are mileage markers along the way informing walkers of their progress. I decided to push on to the end and back. There are several park benches along the way so if you want to rest and enjoy the uniqueness of this place, you can. Lots if walkers out the day I went but still open enough to have a relaxing time. Just a few minutes off Hwy 20, its a gem. I can see why so many people like it.
