This store (different location) used to fascinate me as a kid. My parents would take us to the mall (this was the early 90s) and I always liked walking through Half Price Books. I would pile on the book purchases because hey, Half Price, right? It gave me the liberty to try new genres and ideas I may have not otherwise. I took my 10yrold daughter to this store (this location) tonight for the first time, and when she found a whole section of books toward her age and interests her jaw pretty much hit the floor. We bought 5 books all together, 3 from a series she knows and likes, one that I recommended for her, and one that neither of us knew, but looked interesting. Sound familiar? Personally, I like to read used books. I like knowing that they get to fulfill their earthly promise, and be enjoyed by generations before someday going to book heaven.

A clean, well-lighted bookstore. Staff are helpful. I love this place. Wide selection, including things you will not see elsewhere. Prices are great. And they will give you a bid to buy your used books on the spot.

Half price books? More like three-quarter price books. I bought the Field Guide to Slugs for $3.99 at their location in Redmond and here I saw that it was going for $6.99. A lot of other books were overpriced as well, especially for the conditions that they were in. Also we waited at checkout for the clerk to help us, but we sat there for an uncomfortable amount of time, wondering if she was ignoring us, talking with her coworker, or if she really didn't notice us. Price drops and a little bit more attention paid by the staff would make this place great tho.

Always love this place! Delightful selection of books, games, and other treasures. New, old, mainstream, rare, and indie; truly a lovely place to explore. I have found books i never would have known existed who remain staples of my bookshelf to this day. They've even got a tiny supply of used video games (from all eras), gaming equipment, and trading cards. They are excellent at respecting pandemic mandates and taking their own extra precautions while still allowing for a fully enjoyable experience. The return policy is great, and they buy your books off you for a reasonable price (which is a smooth and usually quick process depending on how many books you brought in/the queue). The staff has always been very friendly and helpful, even cheery. Definitely give this place a look, you're bound to find something you/your giftee would enjoy.

They have a pretty good selection. It's kind of random, but they will put you on a list and contact you if what you are looking for comes in.
Yes, at least 100 copies
I'm sure they do but you should call the store and ask.
They have a whole cooking section, so you might find what you're looking for there and for a reasonable price.
Yes, they carry CDs and vinyl records.
Yes
No.. I do not. This book sounds intriguing to me.. because my line of work is personal development.
Yes they can check and see if another location has what your looking for and can have it sent to your local Half Price.
You cant just post on a random Google review if they have something. This isn't their website
Sorry, but no.
Umm... maybe call the store near you? This is not a 1/2 Price books site. It is a "local guide" mobile app. Half Price Books is a chain that retails new *and* used books. Their inventory changes *literally* daily.
Go later in the evening on Sat or Sun to sell books. Much faster
Yes they buy books. Not a lot of money for them because they sell them half price and if they don't sell they end up at their warehouse sale but it's like turning in aluminum cans... You get something for them and it gets them gone!
You can call and ask. They have inventory on their computer.
They can check their inventory from 126 nationwide stores and ship it to you. They are like a not evil version of Amazon. They are family owned and pay taxes in the US unlike Amazon, the Wal-Mart of the internet that they are.
Call any time 9am to 10 pm.
No. The buying hours are consistent with the hours open. Just be aware that a large amount of things to sell right before closing time may get difficult. They will do their best to do as much as they can.
