The appartments are nice enough; it reminds me of old grandma house but it's cheap so I can hardly complain about the quality. The only real problem here is that the parking is a joke. A JOKE. A good 15-20% of tenants here are left without a parking spot by 9pm. This is a serious inconvenience, sometimes even on a nightly basis. You have to be out of your double parked spot by 8am, meaning if you work late and get home any time past 9, you're almost guaranteed to be forced to double park your car. Then you have to wake up at 7:45am the morning after your late shift to move your car into a parking spot, assuming there are even enough open at this time :) The owners are very nice, but instead of trying to solve the parking problem, they ask tenants to only bring a car if absolutely necessary; I don't know a single college student in 2022 who doesn't absolutely need a car.

I lived here for two years, in both phase 1 and phase 2. The apartments are well-kept and I rarely experienced maintenance issues. The management is wonderful - they’re easy to get ahold of, are always responsive, and very helpful. From what I hear about other apartment complexes, Old Farm seems to have the best management in off-campus housing at USU. The apartments are in a great location. It’s about a 10-minute walk up a hill to campus. There are also multiple campus shuttle and cache valley transit bus stops within a short walk, so a car is not a necessity if you live here. Being across the street from the football stadium is also a great perk. Most of the people I’ve met here have been very friendly and it’s a great community for many students. I only give it four stars because the parking is notoriously awful, with dozens of double-parked cars crowding the lot every night. However, I do appreciate that they’ve always kept parking free. I know they’re taking steps to reduce the amount of cars in the parking lot, such as turning some shared rooms into private rooms so there are less people living there. Overall, I would recommend Old Farm to anyone who’s looking for reasonably-priced housing at USU.

A good cheap housing option. It feels relatively new inside. The staff is also really nice and helpful. My only complaint is that it has the worst parking lot imaginable. This place is seriously the wild west between the hours of 9pm-9am. Monthly cleaning checks.

I really enjoyed living here my freshman year. The environment was definitely geared towards those who are within their first couple years of college but it's a great place to stay and it's location is hard to beat. They are extremely strict on their cleaning checks which is a pro and a con depending on how you look at it.

There is. If you call in to the office, they can put your name on it, and if you call to follow up you are more likely to get in.
I know several folks renting at Old Farm who are not enrolled in classes.
