I talked with Alex at Prime Restoration multiple times over the phone and text after a flooded bathroom from our upstairs neighbors caused water damage and major leaks in our bathroom underneath. Alex was so helpful and provided so much useful information. I texted him pictures of our bathroom ceiling and he was able to provide me with helpful insights on what steps to take and how to work with my property management/landlord when I felt dissatisfied with their plan of action. Alex went above and beyond through several conversations when he listened and responded to my concerns about the suspected mold/water damage being remediated properly, and helped give me the peace of mind that I needed moving forward.

We had the best experience with PRIME Restoration! Alex answered our call at 8:30pm and was extremely helpful in scheduling an emergency visit to our home. Mark and Benjamin arrived on time, they were super helpful and were thoughtful in explaining their process. They were thorough, professional, and personable as well! Would definitely recommend this business to everyone in need of restoration help!!

If I could rate them 10 stars I would! Prime restoration was amazing! When I had a sewer backup in my house they were there same day and didn't leave until it was cleaned up! They kept me in the loop the whole time and always made sure I wasn't having any problems. They were willing to answer any questions my husband or I had, and we're always quick to respond.

Our team at Prime Restoration has the knowledge and equipment to quickly restore your home or business back to pre-water damage condition. We use a scientific approach to water removal and water cleanup that emphasizes monitoring and documenting the drying process from beginning to end. Every water damage case is different, and requires a unique solution, but the general process stays the same with inspection, water removal/extraction, drying and sanitization.
The most common signs of water damage include wet spots or drips around pipes, a damp or musty smell, or hearing water running when all fixtures are off. If you see any of these signs it’s important to call Prime Restoration at (801) 509-6899 and get help.
Water damage restoration can vary depending on the case and amount of damage done. Some cases can take 12 hours to dry and begin the repair process while other cases may take a week to dry out and start repairs.
At Prime Restoration we respond anytime you have significant water damage you your home or business. This could be damage from a sewage backup, natural disaster, flood, etc. Our job is to clean up the mess, preserve your items and restore everything back to normal.
Water damage is normally covered by a standard homeowner’s insurance policy, but not all the time. It can depend on what the cause of damage is. Things like water damage from lack of maintenance are not normally covered while sudden internal water damage is covered. It’s always important to contact your insurance company and understand what your policy covers.
Drying out cost can range from $1,000 to $3,800 and sometimes more depending on the amount of damage done. Cleaning up and drying out a home or business can also be priced by the square footage that is restored. One average drying out a 10-foot by 12-foot room can cost $200-$400.
Homeowners insurance may cover damage caused by leaking like a washing machine leak or if a pipe suddenly bursts. It does not cover damage caused by poor maintenance. Most standard cases, accidental or sudden water damage is covered by homeowners insurance.
Prime Restoration takes water damage remediation seriously. We use a scientific approach to water removal and water cleanup that emphasizes monitoring and documenting the drying process from beginning to end. Every water damage case is different, and requires a unique solution, but the general process stays the same with inspection, water removal/extraction, drying and sanitization.

Mold remediation involves the cleaning and/or potential removal of the areas of a building affected by mold growth. This can involve the deep cleaning of mold off of surfaces using disinfectants and the removal of affected materials such as carpeting or walls.
Water damage can turn into mold growth in as little as 24 hours. This is why we always urge clients to call Prime Restoration as soon as water damage occurs or is uncovered.
This depends on the coverage you have. Most home insurance policies don't cover mold that resulted from a preventable leak or high humidity. However, if mold is caused by a "sudden and accidental" water incident, then you may be covered.
Aside from causing health and air quality issues, mold can lead to rot which can seriously damage the structure of your building. When you hire Prime Restoration, we will comb every inch of your property to identify areas that have been affected.
Most homeowners can notice mold growth just from looking at it, but when you hire a professional mold removal company like Prime Restoration, we use specialized moisture meters to check all areas of your home or business. Moisture meter readings above a certain level will indicate to us that there is likely mold in that area.
This can depend on the type of mold and how much mold is actually present, but symptoms can start to appear even 1 day after exposure. Mold exposure symptoms can include things like runny nose, congestion, sneezing, watery eyes, rash, lack of energy, and more.
In some cases, yes. Water damage can lead to the growth of black mold, and ingesting black mold spores especially can make you sick. If you suspect mold growth in your home or business, we recommend you get it tested by a licensed mold testing company.
The restoration and cleaning phase can be completed as quickly as possible after the fire. The repair process, however, varies depending on the size of the job and the amount of work required. At Prime Restoration, our team provides a detailed estimate on the amount of time it will take to complete the job after we assess the area.

This would always depend on the level of damage, but at Prime Restoration we are able to remove soot and smoke from things like furniture, clothing, documents, and other personal effects. If you are unsure whether or not it is salvageable, give us a call and we can evaluate it for free.
This usually depends on the level and severity of smoke in your home or business. If the levels are too high and dangerous for your health, you may need to spend a few days in a hotel or close the building for a period of time. Typically, your insurance company will pay for your hotel stay.
